NOTHING happening at work... so bored.

I have found celebdaq and it's taking up an unhealthy portion of my life :-) (but I'm not doing too bad).

Try The Geek Test, I managed 37% ish... sad I know. Speaking of which, I managed to connect to my home machine from work, so unmonitored, and un mucked about access is mine.

Ooh.. I am starting a welding night course at Warwickshire College tomorrow night. Should be fun, and will hopefully keep the car maintenance costs down.

Playing (game): Vietcong and Counterstrike
Playing (music): Radio through iTunes. Mainly Secret Agent and Groove Salad... ambient downtempo techno.
Eating: warming wintery foods, stews etc. Organic veg from our delivered organic veg box :-)
Drinking: Coffee

So, I haven't posted for a while. Bite me!

I have been busy, mainly buying a house. Sarah and I have just bought a nice home just around the corner from our last (rented) house. We spent 2 weeks decorating it (including laying a laminate floor... not too hard) and we moved in last w/e. It is lovely, we like it muchly.

My brother Jeremy went off on his travels... I set up a blog for him here. Looking for the address I have just realised that he has updated it. Must go look!

What else? Well... I'm still at Lloyds, where I have just been assured that my job is safe (even though it seems there is no work to do, appatently there is loads on the horizon, just out of reach :-). I'm looking at the programming language Ruby, it seems cool. Still sporadically attending the XtC meetings in London. I am also about to set up a proxy at home through my Debian box so that I can access ALL of the internet and messaging services from work, I found a guide that I am quite sure works, and the ICQ port at work is unsecured... I'll try to remember to post about how it goes.

That's it for now... I have just found some more of the web that I haven't read :-)

New job, and I am now living in Rugby. I have a job at Lloyds pharmacy on Coventry. It is pretty good.

I am trying to get my brain back into gear and look at some developing that willl interest me (open source, or personal).

Thank God for strawberries and early summer. I went and picked some yesterday, and ate them with some of my home-made ice-cream. Mmmmmmmm.

Thinking of what to do with life in general... we'll see.

Political Compass is a brief questionaire about your morals / political stance. It places you onto a graph defining your Economic Left/Right swing and your Authoritarian/Libertarian swing.

Compare yourself, friends and family to Tony Blair, Ken Livingstone, Stalin and Ghandi!

I got:
Economic Left/Right: -4.38
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -5.23
about the same as Ghandi :-)

Apart from that, normal boredom at work... testing at the moment, yawn. On a brighter note I am meeting Sarah (my g/f) in town for dinner.

Where I currently spend my life: a beta online game being developed by a friend of a friend. Epoch is a kinda galactic online web based realtime civilisation type game thingy. And I'm doing quite well :-)

First entry... bored at work! I've just seen Where the hell did my job go and I am inspired!
